2. What watch size looks best on my wrist?
Measure around your wrist, then match the case diameter:
- Slim wrist (under 16.5 cm): 36–40 mm cases look balanced.
- Average wrist (16.5–18.5 cm): 40–43 mm is the sweet spot for most men.
- Broad wrist (over 18.5 cm): 43–46 mm chronographs wear well.
Square and tonneau (barrel-shaped) cases look larger than round cases of the same width, so size down slightly with those shapes. If a watch overhangs the edges of your wrist, it is too big — the lugs should stay within your wrist.
3. Should I buy a quartz or an automatic watch?
Both tell time well; they suit different buyers:
- Quartz (battery): more accurate, thinner, lighter, and needs almost no maintenance — just a battery change every couple of years. It is also far more affordable.
- Automatic (mechanical): powered by your wrist movement, loved by collectors for the craft, but costs more, needs servicing every few years, and loses or gains a few seconds a day.

You have 14 days to return it if it is not right — just keep it unused and in its box (return shipping is charged). Every watch also carries a 1-year warranty on the movement, so if it stops ticking because of a movement fault, we will sort it out.
